I've developed a few core principles that I believe are essential for creating great work and functioning teams.

Sweat the details. Prototype everything.

I prototype early and often and set interfaces in motion. I highly prioritize what a product feels like to use, in addition to how it looks and functions.

When in doubt, map it out.

I meticulously map core flows to capture every edge case, error state, and key decisions. Engineers tend to appreciate these visualizations.

Go big, then scale back.

Whenever possible, I step back to craft a bold product vision that inspires the teams around me. It's easy to scale down, but you'll never know the full potential until you aim high.
